Teaching & service

tophet I have taught graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of Classics and ancient Greek and Roman history. My pedagogy focuses on creating an engaging learning environment that promotes interdisciplinary thinking and active student participation. I prioritise class discussions, integrate cutting-edge technologies as teaching aids to enhance lectures, and encourage the direct engagement with the ancient evidence and its contemporary approaches.
I regularly supervise students in Greek and Roman history, epigraphy, AI applications to ancient texts and languages, and would welcome students in these areas.
I actively contribute to service work and outreach initiatives, aiming to raise awareness about FAIR, open and bias-aware data for the study of the ancient world.
